Content summary: The launch of the brig Abeona of Poole at the point of entering the water. Stern is decorated and inscribed ABEONA POOLE. Pre 1804 Union flag flies forward and red ensign aft. 14 figures on deck, some rejoicing. 5 rowing boats on the water filled with rejoicing figures. Various dockyard buildings and 2 small craft alongside. Inscription in the top left corner 'Launced 28th June 1794 (possibly added later)
